Weymouth Community Church is committed to helping people follow Jesus, in Medina and beyond. If you have questions about the church or your own spiritual life, feel free to contact Pastor Greg Whiting at greg@weymouthchurch.com.

Special Note

For a video review of what to expect, our Facebook page and website are both updated to include the welcome back tour at the top of the welcome back posts. If you have any additional questions, concerns, or prayer requests, call the church office (330-723-1750).

A few things to remember if you plan to join us for in-person worship:

  • We are trying to give you a touch-free worship experience
  • There are masks, tissues, and hand sanitizer available
  • Bring everything you need including a Bible, something to write with and on, a water bottle, and anything you need for your young children while here
  • We are keeping our social distance for your and others’ protection

Join us live on Facebook, Sunday mornings at 10:30

You can also view or listen to the message at a later time on our website. If you know of someone who does not have internet access, printouts of the message can be sent to them…just let us know!

From the Weymouth Tech Team

You do not need to be a Facebook user to watch our live stream on Sunday morning at 10:30.  To access the live stream– go to http://weymouth.com and click on the floating white ‘f” in the blue circle on the left of the page.  That will take you to our Facebook page.  A “mask” will pop up over our Facebook page.  In the bottom of that mask, click the “Not Now” link.  Our page will load and you will be able to watch the live stream.

Also, the Tech Team is offering to assist those of you that are struggling with your personal technology during this time of social distancing.  Our priority first and foremost is your and our health and well-being, so person to person assistance and traveling will be limited.  That being said, we will review requests on a case-by-case basis and attempt to help you the best we can.  Please contact Kerry Pixton so he can assess your situation ( kpixton@icloud.com or 440-670-7273).

Church services for the remainder of December

December 13th – We are looking forward to worshipping, in person and through our live stream this Sunday!

We are also welcoming back Eden and Shobi Maynard, who will lead us in a few Christmas carols. We will be serving coffee and donuts from 10-10:25 a.m.

December 20th – Due to a variety of circumstances, we will NOT be holding in person worship on this day. We WILL be worshipping together, however, through our livestream at 10:30 a.m. over Facebook. If you have not joined us online before and do not have Facebook, you can still watch the service. Just contact the church office for more information.

As we did in the early Covid days, it will just be a recording of one person giving announcements, prayer and the message. Russ Kinnebrew, our Elder team leader, will be sharing God’s Word with us on that day.

December 27th – Due to a variety of circumstances, we will NOT be holding in person worship on this day.

Noah Pixton, a former intern at WCC, and son-in-law to Pastor Greg, will be sharing God’s Word with us on that day.

Who Am I?

  1. How have you handled the election results from this last week? Were you able to give them into God’s hands, and trust His sovereign plan?
  1. How does our definition for worship – “Worship is responding to who God is and what He has done by giving ourselves completely to Him.” – fit the story of Moses?
  1. Moses lacked the credibility and God provided the power (4:1-9)
  • Read Exodus 4:1-9
  • Moses’ weakness: No one will believe me
  • In what area of life, do you feel that you have no credibility?
  • God’s strength: They will believe my miracles
  • So What? I will rely on God’s credibility – Can you say it?
  1. Moses lacked the ability and God provided the help (4:10-12)
  • Read Exodus 4:10-12
  • Moses’ weakness: I am not a good public speaker
  • What is one of your greatest weaknesses, which, in your opinion, is keeping you from doing anything great for God?
  • God’s strength: I will empower your words
  • So What? I will rely on God’s strength – Can you say it?
  • Read II Corinthians 12:9,10 and talk about how this applies to you
  1. Moses lacked the courage and God provided the assistance (4:13-17, 27-29)
  • Moses weakness: Let someone else do it
  • What is one thing, which God has given you the responsibility to do, which you would like to say: let someone else do it?
  • God’s strength: I will give you a partner
  • So What? I will do it with the help God provides – Can you say it?
  • Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 and talk about how this applies to you
  1. Lacked perfection and God provided the plan (4:18-26,30,31)
  • Moses took the first step of obedience
  • What is the next step of obedience, which God is asking you to take?
  • Moses’ weakness: I sin
  • God’s strength: I will still accomplish my will
  • So What? I will pursue this knowing that God will accomplish His plan
  • Read Ephesians 2:10 and talk about how this applies to you

What is your next step?
