This purpose comes from Jesus’ final command to all who would follow Him:

Matthew 28:19,20 – “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

To pursue this purpose, we encourage everyone to ask 2 questions:

1) What is my next step? Every follower of Jesus of every age and stage of life has a next step to take. Asking ourselves this question keeps us, personally, pursuing our purpose. We must ask the second question, for discipleship is not complete without it…

2) Who am I helping take the next step? Discipleship is coming alongside someone else, who is not as far along the spiritual journey as you are; and helping them take the next step in Christ. Every follower of Jesus, regardless of their next step, can help someone else take theirs.
