Women’s Thursday Morning Bible Study

King David: Trusting God for a Lifetime, on Thursdays, at 9:30.  In an age of pressure and change, we long to be secure and also long to be people like the biblical character of David. David’s true success came from growing closer to God. We will meet inside in the grades 1-2 room.  Contact Bonnie Manfull right away for a book (books are $7.50).

Adult Sunday Bible Class  9:00am in the grades 1-2 room

Meeting with Pastor Greg

Pastor Greg wants to meet with every family who counts WCC as their home. During these days of Covid-19, Pastor Greg would like to meet with each of you sometime in October. You can meet at church or at home, inside or outside, in person or online. Please contact the church office or Pastor Greg directly to set up a meeting. Thanks!

Fall Missions Project

Our fall collection this year is for Garfield Elementary, a local school where children from lower-income housing in Medina attend. We would like to share the love of Jesus during this difficult time of Covid with items they need. The school has asked for practical help through donations of the following:

  1.  Snacks – boxes of individually packaged servings of Cheez-Its, pretzels, and Goldfish crackers (these are available at Costco, Sam’s Club, and Walmart)
  2. Inexpensive digital thermometers and covers – these can be found in local stores and online.

Items can be brought to the church on Sundays and placed in the basket marked Fall Missions Project in the back of the church.  Additionally, the items can be brought in through the week (contact the office to see when someone will be at the church) through October 18th.  In addition, we hope you’ll pray for their needs throughout this academic year. Prayer requests were included in the recent Ministry Update, or can be resent to you by emailing the church office. Thank you for caring for children in our community!

Worship Today

Thanks to Michelle Maynard, a friend of the Whitings, for coming to lead us in musical worship today.  She is married to Mark, is the mother of four and teaches elementary music at Westside Christian Academy in Westlake.
