Weymouth Church Bulletin

We have started a study for the book of James.  It contains so many great, practical principles to follow. It was written for its original audience of converted Jews of the 1st century but these principles are also for all Christians of all times.  To assist us in this study, the church is providing ESV James scriptural journals.  These will be available for pickup at the Welcome Center.  If you are not able to be with us, (but praying that will be soon) contact Jenn at the church office for your copy.

Meeting with Pastor Adam

Pastor Adam would like to meet with each member of the church.  An email with a sign up link was sent earlier in the week.  If you prefer, you may also contact the office to set up a time.  In the bulletin, there are half sheets of paper with questions to consider before your meeting.  You do not need to come to your meeting with written out answers to these questions.  They will just help kickstart the conversation.

Volunteers Needed for Playground Work Day

We need helpers to get our playground ready for use!  Please join us at the church on Saturday, May 8th at 10 am. We would love our children to be able to use the playground now that the warm weather is coming!

We need the following tools on the work day: a wheel barrow, shovels,  metal rakes, sanding blocks or an electric sander, small containers for paint and paint brushes or 3” foam roller.  Please contact the church office to let us know you are able to help and what, if any, tools you are able to bring.

New Live Stream Home

Watch live at https://live.weymouthchurch.com!

In an effort to improve the live streaming experience for those of you that are still joining us virtually, we have transitioned where you will find the video for our live stream.  If you have questions, please email us at tech@weymouthchurch.com.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is available for kids kindergarten – 5th grade every Sunday.   This group will meet in the Grades 1-2 room during the worship service.  We look forward to a time of music, Bible teaching, and lesson focused activities geared towards kids!    We are looking for an additional person to assist with check in and check out.

Toddler and Nursery Aged Children

The “wiggle room” in the back of the sanctuary, as well as the larger nursery and preschool rooms down the classroom hall are all open during the service for parents to go into and out of as they wish with their children. We hope to be offering drop-off nursery care and preschool class in the future, but until that time we want little ones to have the chance to feel at home with the people and activities there. The audio from the service can be played in the nursery and the wiggle room.

Wednesday Night Prayer

Russell will be leading a Prayer Meeting (with scripture reading and prayer) every Wednesday at the church at 7:00 p.m.  The purpose is to begin praying for the coming of a new pastor and his family and for the Lord to prepare our hearts for what He has for us. All are welcome to come and pray.
