Non-denominational church in Medina, OH
Sundays at 9am we offer Sunday School classes for children aged Pre-K- through fifth grade.
All of our volunteers are friendly and have gone through a background screening. Children will learn about Jesus through songs, scripture, and play in a fun and nurturing environment.
It is here, through the “Engage” curriculum that the children first learn that God’s Word is exciting and life changing! It is not just a collection of disconnected stories, but it is God’s story and Jesus is at the center of it!
The “Engage” curriculum covers the entire bible narrative, studying some New Testament and some Old Testament each year. These lessons are loaded with a variety of simple, but exciting activities that help kids learn and apply the Bible to their lives.
During our Worship Service at 10:30am we offer Nursery Care for babies and toddlers, and Children’s Church for kids in kindergarten-5th grade.
Students in 6th-12th grade are invited to join us for the whole Worship Service.
We offer nursery care for all babies and toddlers during our worship service. Parents go to the nursery before the service begins to check in their child and will take a pager with them. All volunteers are background checked.
During the regular worship service, we offer Children’s Church for kids Pre-K- 5th grade. Parents sign in their child at the Weymouth Kids desk (near the main doors) and bring them to the beginning of the worship service to join the congregation in singing together.
After the second song Pastor Chris will invite the kids up to the front for our weekly Children’s Lesson. Currently Pastor Chris is taking the kids through the New City Catechism, which you can learn more about here.
On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate Communion together, and kids will be dismissed to Children’s Church after our time around the Lord’s Table.
After the Children’s Lesson (or Communion), the kids will be dismissed with their Children’s Church teachers and walk down the hall to the Children’s Church Classroom. All Children’s Church volunteers are background-checked.
After the service, parents can pick their kids up from the Children’s Church classroom or nursery.
The parent(s) who checked their kids in are the only ones who can check them out.
If this is your first time visiting our church, we recommend you come a little bit early so that you have some extra time to register your children and ask any questions you may have.
